Business and Mercury Retrograde in Astrology

(I decided to begin incorporating my astrology knowledge into my newsletters. I have been studying and using astrology for the past nine years for personal and business timing and have found it works great!)

It's that tme of year again, folks...the dreaded mercury retrograde time. The time to re-do, re-think, go inward, and get ready for when the planet of communication goes forward again on the 19th. It started to go backwards on January 28th, so did things begin to feel a little screwy around that time?

Mercury rules communication, short trips, your neighborhood, your thinking process...contracts...things of that sort. Planets don't really go backwards, but due to the orbit to the earth, they appear to, thus a retrograde, and mercury retrograde.

How does it effect business?

Well, if you are in the communication business like me, you really feel the effects...projects and designs I did months ago are being revised and up for review. Emails sent are lost, the internet is SLOW, technical glitches have been abundant.

Mercury is retrograding through the sign of aquarious. Aquarious is a sign that is known for its inventiveness, technology (the internet), humanistic approaches, groups of people. So we are being forced to redo, rework, and rethink these areas because we have to.

Annoying as this time is, we get relief on the 19th when it goes forward, and mercury hits the place it went backwards on March 10th. Ideas and projects should get a green light to go forward as our thinking process begins to get crystal clear.

Relief Efforts? Patience and realize the time for what it is...re-doing. Easier said than done but just realize you are probably being slowed down for a very good reason when you look back in hindsight.
